The “ADance” couple dance school offers several courses of following styles:
Argentinean Tango (Tango, Creole Walts, Milonga, Tango Nuevo)
This dance was born more that 100 years ago. It changed the whole idea of couples dancing. Producers, writers, artists, and photographers, who all want to use a dance theme in their work, invariably choose the tango. The inner energy of this dance is not only very photogenic, but also absolutely all expressive. It is no wonder that the word “tango” has become the synonymous with such opposite feelings like passion, love, hatred, and betrayal. All strong emotions and feelings, both positive and negative, are always associated with the tango. In the tango there is no place for indifference, apathy, or dullness.
Argentinean Tango and Salsa
These dances are the most popular dances in the world today.
They are different style and melody, but nevertheless the teaching methods have much in common. They both belong to the class of so-called “social dances”. That means they are based, not just on the studying of different elements, but mostly on the partner’s leading. That’s why these dances attract people with their simplicity. In other words, every intermediate level partner is able to dance with every woman, even with beginners. The only condition is to trust and follow the partner.
The rhythms of the tango, and salsa music, can satisfy every taste, even the most refined.
We try to equally divide the time between these two dances. That allows us to move forward simultaneously and to learn the basis of couples dancing more quickly.
Ballroom Dances (Vienna’s and English Waltzes, European Tango, Foxtrot, Quickstep, Rumba, Samba, Cha-Cha, Jive, Pasodoble)
During this course we will teach about 10 different dances. Some of them were included into the contest program of the International Style Ballroom Competitions.
As a rule, during one lesson, we learn two dances. One each is from the European Program (Standard) and from the Latin Program (for example, the Waltz and Cha-Cha, or Foxtrot and Rumba). To every combination of dances we devote 6-12 lessons. In this way the students train in several dance elements and reach the desired level.
The Ballroom Dances Course Schedule:
21.15 - 22.30 – (European Tango and Pasodoble for beginners)
20.00 - 21.15 – (Rumba and Rock-en-Roll for beginners)
21.15 - 22.30 – (Samba and Rock-en-Roll for advanced students)

Salsa and Latin Dances
(Salsa, Mambo, Meringue, Bachata, Lambada, Swing)
During the last 10-15 years Latin dances generally, and Salsa in particular have acquired admirers from all over the world. The International Salsa Congresses and Festivals have became a common event. In several countries dancing tourism has become more popular than a pilgrimage to holy places.
Most of the time will be spent teaching two most popular styles of salsa in Israel: LA Style and Cuban Style (including Rueda – salsa, in which people dance in a circle and change partners). However, by request of the group, we are ready to teach any other Latin dance.
The Salsa and Latin Dances Course Schedule:
19.30 - 20.30 – (Salsa for beginners)
21.45 - 23.00 – (Salsa, Meringue, Bachata for advanced students)
It’s difficult to imagine an event, be it a night club, a restaurant or other celebration, where you will not hear, even one, rock’n’roll song. This dance combines acrobatic, and choreographic elements, together with music that has been popular for many years. This is our special project.
The “ADance” Couple Dance School is the only one in Israel where you can learn acrobatic rock’n’roll.
Our instructors are experienced dancers, and sportsmen. One of them is a master of sports in gymnastics, and a competitor in the world championship for rock’n’roll.
(Brazilian, Irish, Spanish, Greek, Russian, Gypsy, American and so on)
Line dancing recently became very popular in the USA, Canada, and also in Europe, and in the Far East. This dance helps you to develop, and perfect, your basic technique in an easy way, and in a friendly atmosphere. It’s a great opportunity to enjoy dancing without a partner.
Aerobic Dancing Course
The aerobic dancing gained wide popularity in 80-s, and is still popular. This course is strongly recommended for people, who are overweight and with insufficient physical activity, who want to be slim, active, healthy, and cheerful.
In our “ADance” school the lessons are taught by Maria Smotritska, a master in artistic gymnastics, and a doctor with 30 years experience.
The belly dance is difficult, and delicate. It's first of all a union of soul and body. It's very difficult to show your character in the dance. The dancer not only attracts the audience, but she shows herself as a woman, and demonstrates her individuality.
Traditionally, the main characteristic of flamenco is “sapateado” - rhythmical drum beating with heels and sole. But, nevertheless, at the beginning sapateado was performed only by men. For the woman flamenco was more typically graceful movements of arms, hands and shoulders
Every of these courses has 5 levels of teaching, depending on the students’ training level: basic, beginner, intermediate, advanced, and masters. This allows to the student to learn the couple dance technique successfully, and effectively.
It’s possible to open a new course of any dance style, if a minimum of 3 couples (6 people) register.
